ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 yo student from Russia, Moscow. I came to Rome a week ago and I'm about to stay for here 2 months. Right now I'm a bit confused: where to go, what to do, how to make friends here. I'm easygoing and have a good sense of humor, although it is not so easily translated into another language I guess :) I love having fun, but I'm not a big fan of night clubs, although I don't mind going to parties sometimes. I enjoy coffee-drinking, watching movies, visiting different places, reading of course, cooking together and sometimes grabbing some drinks in the evening (I guess Italian wine is particularly good but haven't tried it yet). But doing all this stuff alone is a bit hard for me and I don't know anyone in Rome.

Music: mostly oldies (yeah, I know, it looks pretty much like I'm 45 not 21). Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Doors, The Kinks, The Queen, The Velvet Underground, Tom Waits, Andrew Bird, Leonard Cohen, Serge Gainsbourg, Gogol Bordello, Nina Simone, Paolo Conte... most of jazz and blues also

Books: lots and lots of them since I study literature

Movies: Auberge Espagnole, 10 things I hate about you, I'm not there, Annie Hall, O Brother, Where Art Thou?

I can teach you some Russian I guess... and also I can show you how to close only one eye so that the other stays open (it's harder than it sounds :))
