About Me

I wonder why this is always the hardest gap for me to fill in. I work as a Guest Relations agent in a 5-star hotel, therefore I've got loads of crazy stories to tell and people to gossip about (not even ashamed about it,ahah). I would say I'm a bit reckless - I've done some crazy stuff after which I'm usually like "that was so not cool". Oh well, it's better to do something and deal with consequences rather than to regret later.
Overall I'm super interested in so many things at once I've lost count - currently is the syncretism(god i hope i spelled that right) of voodoo and catholicism in New Orleans and cosmology (received a book by Stephen Hawking as a birthday gift this year, aha!).
I've seen "The Nutcracker" ballet more than 20 times all over Europe, which might be a sign of an unhealthy obsession, idk. Can't stay with one hair colour for a long time.
Anyway, super looking forward to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

IDK, I've had both awful and absolutely awesome CS experiences. For instanc, in Chicago I stayed with one of my now deerest friends and of whom I know think with huge gratitide and appreciation as I certainly did not expect it to be this awesome and have such a good time. I still keep the card Sam left me on my suitcase before me almost missing a plane(planes just don't like me:).

So yeah, i still think this is such a platform to meet new people, make friends and to actually feel like a local in a place you've never been to.

Music, Movies, and Books

The latest favourite movie - "Only lovers left alive" by Jim Jarmusch.
Favourite books: "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens, "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli and "Kati in America" by Astrid Lindgren.
My taste is music is rather eclectic: one day it could be Julie London with her "Cry Me a River" (all-time classics) and the next day I'm bouncing to some popular radio track. And I don't judge people for what they listen to . I also have some tracks on my playlist that i'm like "I love it, but there's no way I'm letting someone know about this".
And I'm a little obsessed with Elvis. He is just so unique and can make me smile, frown or even buy a bottle of red wine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I've done... I actually rescued several stay cats amd they are all living with me now. It might sound hella odd but I swear to god they actually understand what I'm saying. Isn't it like super mental? The one with stripes really like Marvel movies:))

And no way you're going to believe who taught me to paint my face. Chicago drag queens! No one on this planet knows more about makeup than men pretending to be women, that's just fact. And i admit this with pride, because I have huge respect for the drag queens and am secretely obsessed with RuPaul's Drag Race. There, i said it.
