Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a surfer, I enjoy seeing the touristic sights just like anybody else, but for me more importantly it always comes down to the people that I meet along the way that make or break the trip. Yes, it would be nice to be hosted and save money on accommodation, but I’m actually more interested in meeting up people, sharing interesting ideas, and creating genuine connections. So whenever I crash the couch, it's mainly for the interesting company rather than having a free place to sleep
