I recently finished my last year at school and have taken a year out to travel. I love learning new languages and visiting new countries.

I'd like to say I have a good sense of humour, friendly, talkative and adventurous.

On holiday with my family in the past, I never really felt immersed in the culture of the countries we visited.
Couch surfing allows me to meet natives and learn more about the country and language, and make friends along the way.

For a while I was a very close-minded devoted rock music listener, but in recent years my taste has broadened somewhat, from Little Mix to Avicii. But at my core, I still love rock, punk and pop-punk, my favourite band being My Chemical Romance.

As for movies and books, my favourites in both category would be a work of JRR Tolkien; The Hobbit for a book and the Lord of the Rings films. Though other favourites are Conn Iggulden's Conquerer books and for films; El Laberinto del Fauno and Interstellar.

I play guitar at around Grade 4 level, so I'd be happy to share that with anyone. Just don't expect me to write my own music.
