About Me

I'm a 27 year old British guy emigrating to Vancouver in August. I'm heading out on my own and looking to meet new friends and learn about local life.

I'm laid back, creative and open minded. When I'm not working I love travelling, hiking, running, cooking (from a family of chefs), snowboarding, surfing, boxing, live music (rock, indie rock, hip hop), writing and editing, reading novels, going to bars, eating out and just generally hanging out with fun, laid back people.

Work-wise, I'm a copywriter and most of my career has been at an architecture practice in Bristol, England.
Before that, I taught groups of people how to ride Segways and gave others a gentle nudge off 300ft bungee jump platforms (not at the same time).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet like-minded people, learn new cultures, hang out, share stories and explore places together. I've made some amazing friends that I would never have met if it wasn't for this website and hope to carry that on.
