ABOUT ME

I love adventure. The human experience is such an amazing gift, it seems a shame to waste it, so I'm always up for craziness, be it skateboarding down mountains at 3am or taking a 1000 mile motorcycle trip to go swimming. I love to climb stuff, jump off rocks into water, rope swing, and do flips on the beach. Love mountain biking, surfing, kayaking, snowboarding, spinning fire, dancing, capoeira... you get the picture.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm the end result of 4.56 billion years of quasi random molecular manipulations. Guess I'm fortunate to be here given the extreme improbability of it all. And on top of that, all the molecules that make me were formed in a supernova...quite literally we are all star dust.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted mostly. It has been generally a really positive experience hosting surfers from all over the world. Hopefully building up some good karma for when I am couch surfing again. I have learned a thing or two about what makes a couch surfer a pleasure to host. For instance...it is rarely frowned upon for a couch surfer to arrive with a six-pack of microbrew...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Scuba diving with a manta ray in Thailand, being charged by a male elephant in Tanzania, being circled and roared at by a male lion in the Serengeti, bungee jumping over the source of the Nile, and then rafting it, sandboarding in the Sahara, surfing Indo (and many other places), driving a Lamborghini in France ... guess I'm a pretty lucky guy.

I could teach you to surf, maybe ride a motorcycle, shoot a bow and arrow, spin fire, stand on your hands or do a back handspring. Or I could explain molecular evolution and other aspects of biology (or other sciences for that matter).
