ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Like most sane, well adjusted Texans, I love the state and all it has to offer but I have always had a propensity for flight. I have always loved leaving home and exploring with friends. In my senior year of high school, I began to figure out the best way for me to get as far from home as possible and I moved to central New York to learn and to play lacrosse. It wasn't too long before I decided to return to my beloved Texas and settle down in beautiful Austin. A coupe years later, I returned to Houston to get serious about school and I just received my BS in mechanical engineering. Once again my wings needed to stretch and I am joining couch surfing from the gorgeous Bogota, Colombia.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that personal preservation is a waste of life, time, and energy. Use what you have for enjoyment until it runs out, then figure out what you can do next. No matter what we are going to get hurt, so you might as well maximize your happiness.

I dunno, maybe I'm just young and dumb.

I made a profile. My roommate in Houston is an avid couch surfer and we have hosted a few guests.

None, we have had a few travelers stay at my house and it was always a positive experience.

Living in the snow was such a different experience for me. It isn't amazing to most people and I don't think it is either but It was such a different period in my life that it holds some importance to me.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can serve as a personal trainer specializing in weightlifting and cycling ( I am a spin intructor), am always learning about yoga ( I don't plan on getting my 200 but I am always learning about it). Hopefully I will be much better at Spanish at the end of my current trip and will be able to host primarily Spanish speakers.
