One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
it was my first holiday in French (Marseille). even myself still can not believe this experiences. i met a lot of nice people in 2 days. i was alone and never been to Europe before :)
1. when i was in airport. i did not know where to take the shuttle bus. then a bus driver saw me and he told me to just sit in his bus. he took me by the bus to the ticket counter and when i want to buy the ticket, he told me to just sit in the bus and he will buy the ticket for me (he doesnt speak english so we spoke in sign language). so i gave him 10 e. i thought he will take the rest. but after couple minutes. he came back and gave me the ticket and the rest of the money. i just sit and he did everything! how nice!
2. when i was in La Pharo, i met an old man (grandpa) who helped me taking pics. then we speak a lot with sign language. he tried to explain me many things about La Pharo and Marseille, unfortunately i know nothing about French language (he doesnt speak english). he bought me drink and brought me along the sea, then he accompanied me to take the last bus to my host's house. he even did not ask my phone number! thats why i BELIEVE that he is trully nice!
3. something wrong with my phone! i realized when i was in the bus to my host's house. i could not call and sent message to her. after arrived in the bus stop, the place was very quiet and nobody was there. i walked and walked in the night and quiet place (looking for public telephone), almost cried :D
in short story, i found a fruit shop. the owners are really nice! they helped me to call my host and offered me food for dinner! how nice!!
4. in the morning. when i walked from my host's house. i got lost :D
i could not find the tennis court and the bus stop! i met a grandpa who doesnt speak english (again) and he brought me by his car to the bus stop! how nice!
5. i met another grandpa in the bus stop and he accompanied me to go to the market that i would like to see :) how nice!
6. when i was alone in Vieux Port, sit and enjoy the sun. there is a guy (around 20 years) who sit closer and closer and closer to me, tried to speak a lot of things with me and asked me to go for a drink with him. he was annoying! i kept silence and just smile when i refused to answer. then another guy (around 30 years) who sit behind me helped, by taking me to walk with him. he pretended as my friend in front of the annoying guy. then after quite far from that guy, we seperated and i thank u so much to him :)
