to know places, not just to see them (that's where couchsurfing comes in. Also, I would like to meet people who practice vipassana (insight meditation) and meditate with them and learn about their practice.

ABOUT ME

I teach English at an international school in Taiwan. A great thing about being a teacher is that you learn from your students and being at an international school they have an even wider variety of experiences. Plus, I get long breaks which I use to go on meditation retreats and of course to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to this - some friends I've met traveling have had great experiences and I'm always interested in meeting people who love traveling, whether while I'm traveling or while I'm not. If you happen to be in Seoul, please say hello, if it's a weekend I'm happy to show you around!

I'm interested in meeting people, rather than finding somewhere to stay. I think Couchsurfing is about broadening your horizons rather than just saving money, and since I'm lucky to make a good salary doing something I love, I know there are people for whom saving money is more important so they should get priority.
