ABOUT ME

I stay active, I am not capable of sitting around watching TV all day. Outside of my day job, I love playing sports, renovating my house, and spending time with family. I travel when I get a chance - my favorite travels are either cultural, or involve mountains. Beaches are okay too, once in a while. I consider myself an extrovert, although I can be shy in new situations.

PHILOSOPHY

I won't list every philosophy I have, but list just one: The less TV, headphones, cellphones, the better. Technology is necessary, but people tend to overdo it I think. When taking a walk, leave the headphones behind and simply enjoy being in nature. Instead of watching TV after work, go for a bike ride or read a book or talk with a friend (in person, not in a chat room!). I just think people drown themselves in multimedia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed on a family's "couch" in WA. They were wonderful hosts. That's the extent of my experiences. I will definitely surf again in the future if my travels allow it.

If someone could teach me to be a better swimmer, that'd be great. I think it might just take more practice though on my part to build up my endurance.
