Overview
About Me
I'm an English and Philosphy student from Germany, who is currently living in the lovely city of Birmingham for one year. I'd like to think of myself as an open minded and social person. Love to travel and meet new people - the open-mindedness of the British has been by far the best thing about this Erasmus year so far.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think there is no better way to travel and meet nice people. It is a great opportunity to exceed the typical tourist experience of taking a few pictures and getting ripped off in an overprized tourist pub, without really getting a feel for the place you're visiting. Staying with people who are so kind to share theier time and maybe a few stories about their city with you is simply a great experience.
Interests
I'm massively interested in culture in general, British culture in particular! Always curious about how people live. Apart from that I love English and American literature, arthouse- and mainstream cinema, football, running, cooking history, coffee, good food, wine, beer, pubs and local breweries, 90s grunge and alternative rock.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach German. It might not be the easiest language, but I was told it's quite rewarding to learn. And learing some basic insults as well as how to order beer in German can never be wrong
