Overview
About Me
Hello, I am Wes; currently living in São Paulo, Brazil. I'm 33 years old and a sucker for art, food, geek stuff, more food, a little bit more food, and everything related to new cultures and people. I’m genuine, happy, and adventurous. I love cooking, hiking, spending time with my cat, and doing crossfit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here for the fun and the chance to connect with different people and cultures, both in my hometown and around the world whenever I'm traveling. I usually travel alone and meet new friends along the way, and I think Couchsurfing could be a way to meet even more people and have different experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
Book: Push by Sapphire
Movie(s): HP & The Chamber of Secrets, The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, Paddington, Chicken Run, Marie Antoinette, Parasite (yeah I know, pretty random)
Song: I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) by Aretha Franklin and George Michael
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wrote and designed an unpublished children's book called Dominic Parker and His Friends, about a pea and his friends in the refrigerator LMAO
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make amazing caipirinhas, brigadeiros, and pão de queijo. I’d love to introduce people to some cultural things like to Festa Junina, a Brazilian festival in June. I’m eager to learn about local politics, nightlife, gay life, and good hiking spots from my hosts and guests.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, a taste of Brazilian culture, and some delicious homemade treats. I’m respectful of personal space and always up for sharing travel stories. I hope to offer a simple yet meaningful local experience, whether it’s a visit to a local bar, a nightclub, or just a walk around town.
