I am a 22-year-old student from Germany and live near Aachen. From September 2016 I travel through South America, especially Chile, to discover the culture, learn Spanish and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, travelling is not only about visiting places - it's also about meeting people and understanding their culture. In general I like to make friends with new people, especially far away from home. It also gives a great opportunity to practise different languages - or even start learning a new one.
You don't know any place you have been to properly without knowing the people who live there.
