I am a recent graduate from a state university in upstate New York. I studied English creative writing and literature, french language, and was involved in student theatre productions--staged readings and improvisational theatre. I am an avid reader and love to share books and ideas. I also am an avid writer--poems, stories, pure psychic automatism, whatever comes up. I hope to write a novel in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and see the world while I'm young and can afford to spend the money and time doing it. I also don't have much money so couchsurfing is a great resource. I am hoping to meet people and experience things that will help me find a clear path for my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of 20th century jazz, although I have spent a lot of time listening to indie music, rock, pop, reggae and other genres.
In terms of movies, "Ratatouille" is in my top five along with "The Place Beyond the Pines." Random, but both very rewatchable.
Alan Watts' "The Book," Albert Camus' "The Stranger," Herman Hesse's "Narcissus and Goldmund," along with "Siddartha," have all had pretty big impacts on me.
