Overview
About Me
19 years of age and currently in my first year of mechanical engineering at Durham university - loving it@@. I'm in university accommodation, so I can only host one person, but I've no bedding.. Adding more info later
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the reason I use couch surfing is that as much as i find a new place fascinating, i'm more concerned about meeting the people living within these places; as i truly believe, the residents of the location, make it what it is. I feel the only way to meet the residents of a place is couch surfing, hosteling to some extent offers you this, but you're generally socialising with other travellers - not locals.
Interests
I'm fascinated by meeting new people, in particular from foreign countries - I'm also partial to a long road trip. Finally, I absolutely love England and I won't refrain from personifying this. Being English also means I love one particular national sport - drinking (although, we're not quite as good as the Australians at it). I'm not just a typical English alcoholic I love history, all things mechanical and also talking about politics, in particular the European union.

Music, Movies, and Books
I quite like an English sitcom called "Dad's Army" - Top Gear is also a favourite
I'm open to all genres of music, but i do have a bias currently to a band called Bring me the Horizon
Not partial to novels; however, i'm fascinated by history books, in particular in relation to the First and Second World Wars
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hum... It happened like this XXXXXXXXXXXX Oh I can't say that on here you'll have to message me
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can often you an insight into British culture, or more specifically culture within England - I believe I can do this from a more traditional perspective. I'd also love to buy you a drink - talking of drinks, if you've never had a cup of tea, I can show you how to make one the traditional English way.
