I grew up 18 years in the Midwestern United States in the wholesome city of Minneapolis.

I grew up playing a lot of sports and always enjoy healthy competition.

I left Minnesota to attend Berkeley for university.

After graduating I moved to Seattle for work.

Then after living in Seattle and experiencing the Seattle freeze there I had a mini quarter life crisis.

I became better at and more proactive in seeking out new friends and new people to meet.

I enjoyed this quite a bit and realized I wanted to meet more people who are different from me and experience cultures different from my own.

Then I realized almost the whole rest of the world is very different from me/my American culture.

And I decided I wanted to spend some years living outside of the US, still working on this part (hopefully next year).

So I came to couchsurfing to explore and meet that other 99% of the world.

I'm excited to be apart of it as I assume the majority of users her have the exact same intention.

Intereses

I'm a big sports fan.

My fandoms include Federer, Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Wild, and honestly any Minnesota sports team if they are doing well.

These days a spend a large chunk of my free time language learning.

I speak English natively and am fluent in Chinese at a pretty elementary level if your interested in practicing.

I play tennis and table tennis actively and have played almost all sports beyond a casual level at some point in my life (other than hockey).

I'm well versed in the food scene in Seattle and can take you never ending food tours.
