Overview
About Me
I have done a little bit of everything and I am still unsure if I ever find something I can truly be passionate about, but I like to think that gives me freedom. I play the piano (12-13 years), I'm generally quite active (currently I'm enjoying fencing and skiing if the weather permits). I'm always happy to share my thoughts, if people care to listen.
I'm originally from Estonia, but currently I'm only spending my holidays there, since I am studying chemistry in the University of Manchester. That means I probably won't be able to host in Estonia during autumn or spring, but I might be able to do it in Manchester and vice versa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling almost as much as I love the town I grew up in. So couchsurfing presents a unique opportunity to do both, it offers the chance to see the city from a local's perspective and I hope I can share the secrets of my home town as well. At least I hope to, since I am fairly new to couchsurfing, but I have heard so many interesting stories from my friends, I finally decided to join myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Impossible to list everything I love, but since that doesn't help anyone I could give some examples.
I love classical music, especially from the 20th century (Schnittke, Schönberg, Berg and Sibelius!!), but recently I haven't really listened to classical music. I can enjoy different genres, but particularly alternative rock, Estonian punk, 80s disco, some electronic music, folk music...
I have seen a lot of movies and It's hard to make a list, but some of my favorite directors include Paolo Sorrentino (La Grande Bellezza is a must see), Park Chan-wook, Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino
Same goes for books... excluding Estonian authors I really enjoyed reading For Whom the Bell Tolls (and other works by Hemingway) and some Russian authors.
I am always looking for new (good/interesting) movies, so share your experiences!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done a lot of things, some of which someone might consider impressive, but I don't believe in it or limit myself with counting or achieving towards one particular "amazing" thing. If you keep yourself open, it happens often enough!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share the amazing and weird culture of being an Estonian, show around my hometown or the countryside (and the forests!!) in addition to stories, ideas, music, in short, my time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
During summers a place to stay in the city (Tartu) or the country house, which has more room, but is in the countryside. Other than that, my time which I usually value dearly.
