Overview
About Me
I find it kind of difficult to describe myself. I like contradictions or actually those things which seem to be contradictions but are none. I like mixing things other people suppose not to belong together. Like studying abstract mathematics and beeing a fire fighter. Beeing fascinated by religions as an agnostic...
Sometimes I'm a little philosopher and sometimes I'm just living the moment. I really enjoy hanging around with people, talking, laughing. I love going to the mountains or walking through a beautiful forest. Sometimes I'm rather a couch potatoe. I like to listen to music (Jazz, classical music, ethnic music, Metal, Hip Hop, miscellaneous...) or going to concerts. I'm open minded and like to experience other people's culture/lifestyle.
Things which are really boring me: chart music, tourist attractions, celebrities, shopping malls...
Voluntary work: fire fighting and leading a group of boy scouts
Education besides mathematics: I studied 'Near and Middle Eastern studies' for one year (which is Turkish, Jewish, Persian and Arabic history, culture, language and religion)

Movies:
'Schindler's List' is one of my favourite ones.
Books:
I really like Karen Traviss. Although she is doing a lot of nerd stuff she's a brilliant science fiction author. Then of course I love (Sir) Terry Pratchett's discworld novels. And last but not least one of the most amazing authors I know of is Rafik Schami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled from Germany to Turkey by train. Dunno if this can be considered "amazing" but it was definitely not the ordinary holiday experience :D
