Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last year I did couchsurfing for the first time and I enjoyed it.
I met nice people from different countries and we had a great time together. We had a lot of interesting conversations about our cultures and plenty of other topics. I really enjoyed exploring foreign countries with the help of locals and I want more of it!

Interests

Obviously, like probably everyone here, I really like traveling and learning new things about foreign countries and cultures.
Besides this I am a big sports fan. I like playing Beach-Volleyball and Field Hockey but it is also easy to get me enthusiastic about other sports. Apart from this I enjoy hiking a lot.
When I am not involved in sports I spend a lot time with my friends. Mostly we are chatting about different topics and enjoying a cold beer while doing so.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies and music I am not quite picky. In most cases, it depends on my daily mood and what I am up to.
Actually I don´t read a lot. I prefer listening to audiobooks more. My favorite books are The Alchemist, 1984, The Circle and The Hobbit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a castle out of blankets and towels when I was six.
No, seriously I walked the Camino de Santiago with a Spanish friend of mine who I met in Warsaw. Actually, living in Warsaw without being able to speak proper polish is another memorable thing.

I am a native German speaker so I guess I can teach some German if you are interested. I can also share some good stories I experienced.
Apart from that I can guarantee a good mood and a big interest in your country.
