Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm a British philosophy & literature student studying in Valencia. I like books and hot countries, meeting new people, eating nice food, cycling and keeping fit. I have plans to travel around Spain this year. I would like to cycle to Morocco, exploring the cities of Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Gibraltar on the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended couchsurfing to me - they told me it's a great way not only to travel cheaply, but to find out more about an area by getting to know people who live there. Sounds fantastic, I thought I should try it myself. Looking forward to making my own couch available once I have my own home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to guitarists to play their songs - I like Nick Drake and Bert Jansch, and Americans like John Fahey and Robbie Basho.
Films I like too - I'll watch pretty much anything. One film I really liked that I watched recently was The Tree of Life directed by Terence Malick. I thought it was a very sensitive portrayal of Christianity in an American family.
I like The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit. Reading those two always felt a bit like walking to me - the steady pace of the novels and the pastoral descriptions of strange creatures and landscapes made reading feel a lot like travelling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Me and my friend got invited to stay the night at a Mosque in Jericho. Our hosts were really lovely and fed us 2 meals, then drove us back to town in the morning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some guitar, English. I can tell you some of my limited travel stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some nice vegetarian meals for you - curries, soups, maybe Spanish tortilla! If you have a guitar, I can play it. My English grammar is excellent so I can edit/proofread essays or emails if you want!
