My name's Oliver, and I'm a professional busker.

My plan is to spend the next few years of my life busking around Europe, making videos, writing about it, and meeting as many kindred spirits as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to taste the rest of the world. I want to meet kindred spirits - people who have that fire inside them that you can't really put into words, but you know it when you see it. I want to busk in as many different cities as I can.

Interests

Busking - this has been my job for the last few years, I sing and play electric guitar.
Reading - I spend a few hours every day reading.
Walking - probably my favourite activity in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A little old lady asked me, when I was playing in the street, if I could sing Morning Has Broken. I started singing, and after the first line, she burst into tears. She cried for the whole of the song, and when I was finished, she came over and we hugged for at least a minute. Then she slipped a £10 note into my pocket and went away without a word.
