Overview
About Me
I am an outgoing, exploring, sporty and easy going traveler. Love travelling and experienceing new cultures and meeting new people from all around the world. I am studying informatics and economics. Well, my friends would describe my as a person who is always optimistic and smiling, very communicative, fun lover, reliable and a bit crazy about backpacking :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is in my eyes the best way to exchange ideas, learn something about other cultures (as a host and as a traveler), and most important meet new people! I like to share the CS spirit which is for me the spread of generosity, trust, tolerance, and intercultural connection. I made so good experience with Couchsurfing and don't want to miss one of them. It got a solid part in my way of travel and life.
Interests
I am interested in:
of course --》TRAVELLING, COUCHSURFING & BACKPACKING, nature, food, culture, languages, sports, books, politics, economy, adventure...
You see I have very diverse interests. I love to be exposed to nature like I love to surround myself with locals and learn their customs and social value system.
Thus, I am easy to entertain because I try to soak everything in my head :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did Bungy jumping in New Zealand, one-month backpacking and Couchsurfing through the Islamic Republic of Iran, rafting in Georgia, skydiving in Spain, snorkeling in the Archipelago of the Philipines in a 50-meter deep shipwreck, surfing in Portugal, extensive skiing in the alps.
But I think the most amazing thing is when experiencing generosity, tolerance, and open-minded people.
My motto is:
Experiences don't have to be good,
they just have to be strong.
Let me explain that: As long as you are not long-term injured and LEARN (from crises, bad decisions, and accidents) the experience can't be bad, in this case, it is just strong.
'What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger
One example:
I did one week of Couchsurfing on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean in the Philippines. The next island with a village was in the fastest travel manner possible (a small fishermen's boat) 2 hours away. On my way back to the mainland my companions and I suffered a shipwreck because of a typhoon and nearly died. Swam with my whole backpack to the shore and thus saved my passport, money, mobile, other belongings, and my life :)
Sure I would not like to experience this again. But I was not seriously injured (just bloody feet because I had to walk without shoes on corals with my backpack to the shore of the next island) and I learned to not underestimate the power of nature.
