About Me

Hey there, I'm Oli, 28 years old and just finished my master's degree. For 2016 I reward myself with a journey around the world.

As a kid I was awarded "Most Popular Kicker" at my sports club so that should give you a first insight of my character! ;)

I am a relaxed, reliable and fun person who loves to laugh and who offers a hint of craziness and goofiness.

Do you remember the school homeworks where you had to write about yourself? I always hated those exercises! I believe everyone has to make his own image of someone so this characterization contains only some keywords of my person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology and those studies awoke my interest in different cultures, religions, and ways of living. The direct contact and exchange with people who participate in Couchsurfing offer an insight to a specific cultural context which may remain hidden on a classic hostel/hotel experience.

Interests

I love making music and listening to it (I play the guitar and piano) especially with friends. Dancing to electronic music. Reading. Travelling.
Sports are another important part of my life. I need to get exercise on a regular basis otherwise I go crazy. Soccer, tennis, cycling, and running are the most prominent sports I perform but I'm always open to new athletic activities. If I'm not excercising I watch sports (especially soccer - Bundesliga, Premier League, Champions League).
I love to eat and to drink. My advantage: I eat and drink almost anything (japanese natto is a no-go for example) and are always happy to get to know new culinary delights. I'm not a fancy cook but I know my way around the kitchen and can definitely serve some tasty dishes! ;)
Movies (I have a profound knowledge of animated movies) & TV Shows (I absolutely adore the US Version of 'The Office')
