About Me

ABOUT ME

Not really fan of the descriptions, I have no idea what should I write here about myself. I like to talk with new folks I meet about wide variety of subjects. Meanwhile I don´t like clubs. Most people here write about how crazy, easy going or whatever else they are and in my case it would be probably a lie, yet I have no problem with doing sometimes idiotic things just for the heck of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host up to two people at my flat or offer general advice regariding my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, great. Started hosting recently and its been a lot of fun.

Interests

Traveling into sort of unexplored, or places ignorred by mainstream tourists (preferably Eastern Europe which doesn´t feel crowded by camera tourists, yet offers much to see). Beside that it´s foreign relations and polics and some other stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fantasy books, comedy books, many types of books. I guess the same could be said about movies, I also enjoy the brainless point-and-shoot types with Schwarzenegger and Stallone. Rarely I get from movie less than I expect. Great fan of Andrzej Sapkowski and George RR Martin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First time I saw Trollveggen in Norway, as a bonus it was clouded so you coudln´t see above the peaks of surrounding mountains. Second was view I saw from Ukrainian train when in passing village there was a little kid (maybe three years old) chased by a pack of chickens. Third was view I got from nearby Leninskaya station, Moscow of surreal socialist magalomania of the city with red start and sickels and hammers on every single building.

Teach, Learn, Share

One way or another, something always screws up on your travels. Take it as a game, or a challange if you preffer it that way and never panic. You will always get out of it eventually, don´t ruin your trip by overthinking things. Go where others don´t, places that other usually refers as black holes are often more interesting than cities you saw on TV gazillion times. Going on vacation with travel agency, only to see shore of one beach and one hotel room for two weeks is boring and should not be considered as travelling, but as a waste of your time and money. Do it yourself, go where you want and do not give a crap about what others say.
