Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To constantly seek new knowledge and experiences, to be inquisitive of the everyday lives which people lead and ultimately remain positive and enjoy what life has to offer.
ABOUT ME
I consider myself an enthusiastic and driven person, optimistic when encountering with new people/places. I'm extremely passionate about many things in life, including the ocean, photography, motorbiking, literature, handwritten letters, cooking, music, copious amounts of coffee, mountaineering.....the Great Outdoors! When I'm not working for the ambulance service, I devote as much time as possible to travel.
PHILOSOPHY
"The woods would be near-silent, if only the loudest birds sang"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To meet like-minded people who are prepared to trust other, to share an experience together however small that may be. Seeing a friendly face in a new part of the world makes a lot of difference.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Eating ramen noodles, playing at the arcades and visiting temples in Kyoto, drinking Efes and exploring Baku with Narmina, going to a town festival in Aarau (Switzerland) with Sonja, wine tasting in Bourges (France) with Florent, showing Cesar around my local city (Exeter), exploring Udine (Italy) and swimming in the river with Guendalina, strolling around the Christmas market in Rostock with Charly Roecher, drinking coffee with Valentina in Rome, cooking and listening to Johannes perform on his piano in St. Gallen, drinking fine Slovenian wine with Dalia in Ljubljana....long may it continue :)
Interests
Equally at home in the ocean or among the mountains, the great outdoors is where I'm 'in my element', to enjoy the company of others or the solace of being alone. Being in nature gives so many opportunities to physically push your physical limits and then finish the day drinking a bottle of grappa around a campfire while listening to a bit of Dylan. If I find myself in the bright lights of a city, you'll see me in some old cafe or jazz bar with a book and a double espresso. You're welcome to join me wherever I am!
