Overview
About Me
I'm striving to become my most authentic self. I love to dance and having good and long conversations with all the people. I know all the peope will be a bit difficult, but I love to here stories from as many different people as possible. I believe everyone has a unique story to tell.
I studied engineering and also worked as an engineer for a year. At some point I figured out I do not like that and will start to study Science and Technology Studies soon while engaging more and more with politics around technical, environmental, and gender issues.
For a few years I tried to find a way to give some of the love I recieved onwards to other people. Since last year I'm volunteering as a hospice companion. Which is by now one of the most enriching things I did in my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's cool to meet people. I love to show people around my hometown and had some of the most wonderful meetings with people both while hosting and surfing. I hope there are a few more of that kind to come.
Interests
My biggest interests include meditation, politics, and philosophy. I love reading books (don't give me a book and say it's interesting, this might be a converstaion stopper as I have to read at least the first page).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: dub, edm, brass, punk, ska, hip hop, ....
Movies & series: The brand new testament, fight club, memento, black mirror, south park, rick & morty, adventure time, ...
Books: I like the works by Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegurt, Margaret Atwood.... A few books that stuck to my mind from last year are 'In One Person' - John Irving, 'Siddhartha' - Hermann Hesse, 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' -Robert Pirsig.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most stunning things I did in the last year was to participate in a playfight ritual. People sit in a circle and two people have a very playful fight where it's more about into feeling the strength and body of oneself and the other. It's not competitve and I learned a lot from it.
