Hi!! My name is Liv and I am currently living in Melbourne, Australia where I have been studying since March. I am an Environment and Society student and work a barista jobs. This summer (January- February ) I'm looking for some cool people to stay with who can give me some insight into another life. I will be heading to Bogor, Indonesia to study/ be an inter with a program in agriculture. I love to learn from others, I really see no point in living if it can't be with others.. I want to GROW and FLORISH as a person, travelling is helping me achieve this .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to learn from personal interactions with new people, find out the best activities to do on my stay. Also looking for some great food, I am 92% vegan also, so any tips would be appreciated :D I think life is all about giving. The more I have travelled the more I understand life is about sharing, what's the point of being happy if the people around you arent!

Music, Movies, and Books

I think one of the greatest things to ever experience is live music, whether it's at a huge festival in Belgium like Pukklepop, in a little underground bar in Glasgow, or a street artist, playing for the masses, I love it all.
Music is one of my favourite things, my favourite bands include Violent Soho, Skeggs, Tame Impala, Arctic monkeys, The Smith Street Band.
Also love dance, techno, deep house, hip hop, RnB, rock, swing, funk anything, I'm all ears!!
Movies I love are Little Miss Sunshine, Forrest Gump, Ferris Buellers Day Off, anything Johnny Depp or funny or adventurous or inspiring. Although I haven't watched so many movies in the last year I really enjoy documentaries about culture, social trends, the environment and health.

I can assist in cooking a vegan meal or sculling a beer. Happy to help with craft, sewing and and any kind of environmental project! I love to share tips on how to live with less stuff and less waste. I am a simple women and also really love to journal and be creative in dance, music, singing drawing, painting, collage whatever I can work with. Through art, I realised that life is imperfect, beautiful and just in it's own ways. There are no rules in art or in life so why not push the boundaries of social expectation?!
