Overview
About Me
Hello! I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and environmental conservationist. I adore traveling and getting the opportunity to meet and learn from new people.
I’m originally from Seattle, WA but I've lived/traveled in Britain, Europe, Thailand, Nepal, and in various countries in Latin America. I lived in Ecuador for five months in 2017. Most recently I returned from a trip to Belize and Mexico.
Currently living in Corvallis, Oregon working towards a BS in Natural Resources (with an option in Human Ecology and a minor in Spanish).
I love to rock climb, paint, ski (XC and downhill), hike/backpack, scuba dive, snorkel, etc. I simply love being outdoors and connecting with the earth, and I love spending time with animals. New cultures and experiences bring me joy and enthusiasm for life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and living like a local where I travel. I don’t typically follow the “tourist” path.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love so many types of music, but my current favorites are a lot of Americana folk, grunge rock, and reggae.
I just finished reading Ishmael which may be my new favorite book. Another favorite is the English Patient.
My all-time favorite movies are Across the Universe, Big Fish, and Moulin Rouge.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dove 150 feet into the Blue Hole in Belize, swam amongst 50ft stalactites and saw my first hammerhead shark!
