About Me

Born in Romania where I spent the first half of my life. The other half I spent around Munich.
People sometimes ask me, if I rather feel Romanian or German. I don't know...I don't have such a feeling. I'm probably a bit of both but also influenced by so many other cultures, as, especially in the last years, I had the chance to live and interact with international people at school, at work and during my free time activities. I also had the chance to travel and see a tiny part of this wonderful world.
I think it's amazing and stunning how people see the same thing differently just because they come from other parts of the world. And in this way grew up with different ideas or ideals. So basically how society influences the way you perceive the world.
What I don't like about this is that, (almost) everyone thinks, the way they see the same thing is the right way and can't really understand how others can do stuff, themselves would never do in their region. Even very open minded people.
Anyway, I like people that try at least to understand the others - why they act like they do and so on.

I'm a very positive person, very energetic and full of life. Sometimes this can be maybe annoying. For example when people just want to chill but I need action.😃
But don't worry, If I had enough occupation and action, I can even be calm afterwards. And I always make sure that I have enough action during the day.

I like to talk a lot and when I feel comfortable I also do so. It's nice when it's a conversation but I'm also fine when people just listen and just ask a question from time to time 😅
A conversation with me can be of every kind. It can even start serious then suddenly turn funny, then suddenly you might realise that we talk about business ideas and then maybe about random stuff.

I also like to write when the subject is interesting and I have an opinion about it....Maybe you already noticed that.

Challenges are great, especially intellectual ones - probably this is the reason why I decided to study math and enjoy working in this area.

In my everyday life I go to school (TU Munich), work ("normal" work but also on own projects), hang out with friends - sometimes dancing, hiking, gym, inline skating, swimming in the lake - and think about where I could go next.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The idea behind it seemed to be nice and kind of reflects how I think traveling is fun. I just love to be around people. And also get to know different opinions or life styles.

Especially regarding the hosting part but also applicable to the part with me being the surfer: an empty home is kind of sad and boring. Even after a super hard and exhausting day at work/school/whereever I think it's nicer to come home (btw. home for me is not a very specific place. It can be everywhere) and have a nice evening together with people than to stay alone and to try to charge your batteries for the next exhausting day. My batteries get faster recharged if I have a funny evening with nice persons. Of course, sometimes I just want to be alone and don't want to see or talk to anyone but veeeeery very soon I realise that something is wrong: the people around me are missing.
I just like to be surrounded by people, especially if we can laugh together, talk about all kind of interesting stuff or do whatever is fun. :)
This doesn't mean by the way that I don't have own hobbies or interests in order to have enough occupation by myself and am dependent on others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, I guess the mindset and life I have now started with the fact that I left home when I was 13 and searched for adventures. So, that was probably the most amazing thing I did, as without that everything else would have not happened. But who knows 😄

Hopefully good vibes, all kind of stories and depending on where I was before some good food or drinks from that place.
