About Me

"She's a nice person." -My mom.
I'm currently in university and am not sure where I want to plant my roots afterwords. I'm laid back, and always joking. I'm obsessed with animals (large, small, cats, dogs, goats, I don't discriminate). I'm calm and quiet but rather spontaneous. I have a helpful spirit and am always down to make delicious meals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I travel myself, I know it's hard to find an affordable and cosy place to stay. Also, I cherish the chance to exchange experiences and make new connections. I love sharing cultures, food, music, and languages. And meeting people from all over the world is the best way to do so!

Interests

I love anything that will get me outside! Hiking, gardening, kayaking, watching the sunset. I also love reading, learning languages, cooking, singing and drawing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Top favorite music genres: Alternative R & B, Bluegrass/Folk, Hiphop, Classical
Favorite movies: anything artsy-fartsy or anything with Will Ferrell
Fave Books: 100 Years of Solitude, Bossy Pants by Tina Fey, all Toni Morrison

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One winter, I worked at an isolated goat farm in the mountains of New Mexico. There was no running water. No heating except for wood-burning stoves. No electricity. One herd of the 50 of best goats I've ever met and a pack of bad-ass dogs that looked after them. It was the coldest, wildest period of my life. I experienced death, birth, built relationships without the distraction of technology, and learned how to make pretty good goat cheese.

Teach, Learn, Share

Good cooks are always welcome. Also, I'm interested in anyone who I can exchange languages with. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I'm cooking or baking something, I can definitely share it with you! I'm good with gardening, cleaning and animal care. Also, I am ready to break into song at a moment's notice!!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Croatia, Hungary, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
