About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore cultures, languages, and people, get lost, eat chocolate, and laugh my way around the globe.

ABOUT ME

Urban and natural adventurer, aspiring painter, avid baker, and book worm. While traveling I'm more interested in experiencing the local life -- preferably through wine, food, relaxation, and hiking :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the world is a vibrant and beautiful place. I believe in learning through listening to others, talking to children, and appreciating nature, art, solitude and fresh air.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The apartment includes myself and my boyfriend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently stayed with two wonderful hosts in Italy, and in the Bay Area in California.

Interests

Eating chocolate, beach yoga, tasting and creating new foods, baking, traveling around the globe, working with children, running slowly, and snuggling.

Favorite musical artists -- Ray Lamontange, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine

Favorite books -- White Oleander, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While studying abroad in Vietnam I participated in a typical ritual in the MeKong Delta. Some friends and I caught a garden snake, cut its head off, drained its blood, drank it with rice wine, and then cooked an ate the snake!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a great passion for baking and painting and love to experience these with others. Further, I have a love and deep interest in child development and psychology.

I am always looking to learn more about nearly anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Baked goods and humor :)
