I left my job working for an LGBT+ anti-abuse charity in London to travel through Latin America. I have been from Nicaragua down to Argentina with my best friend but am now traveling solo! I want to use this time to draw, tattoo, read and focus on my body, but also to connect with locals and experience the wonderful things they like to do, and improve my Portuguese! I feel there are not enough hours in the day for all the things I want to learn, practice and explore, while also trying to live gently, consciously and away from the crazy London capitalist grind mindset. I have a hammock and sleeping bag I can sleep in outside if better for space.

Dejé mi trabajo en una organización benéfica contra el abuso de personas LGBT+ en Londres para viajar por América Latina. He viajado desde Nicaragua hasta Argentina con mi mejor amiga, pero ahora viajo sole. Quiero aprovechar este tiempo para dibujar, tatuar, leer y centrarme en mi cuerpo, pero también para conectar con la gente local y experimentar las cosas maravillosas que les gusta hacer, y mejorar mi portugués! Siento que no hay suficientes horas en el día para todas las cosas que quiero aprender, practicar y explorar, mientras también intento vivir con suavidad, conscientemente y lejos de la loca mentalidad capitalista londinense. Tengo una hamaca y un saco de dormir en los que puedo dormir fuera si es mejor para espacio.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The times I have spent couchsurfing when travelling have been the most memorable and special. I love to connect with local people and see the places they live through their eyes, they also know all the best hidden gems!

I love a whole range of music from all over, really enjoy dancehall, gqom, amapiano, baile funk, uk funky, reggae dub, garage and jungle to go out and dance to, or electrónica, rnb, soul, bossa nova, jazz or hip hop to chill to. Would love to expand my Latin American music knowledge!

I am currently very slowly reading las venas abiertas de América Latina in Spanish and I’m determined to finish it! I am normally reading a non-fiction book about politics, social justice, psychology or history and a historical fiction book!

I can teach about tattoos or even tattoo you in your house if you’d like! I like talking about art, social issues, politics, environment, spirituality and other things about the human condition. I feel that I know nothing and I have everything to learn in this life but I love the learning process. I would like to also learn about gardening, diy and in general how to live a more sustainable and self sufficient life.

Me gusta hablar del arte, de los asuntos sociales, las políticas, el medio ambiente, la espiritualidad y otras cosas sobre la condición humana.
