Hey guys,
I'm from a small town in Wales but for the last 5-6 years have been living in different places within Europe: Karlsruhe, Liverpool, Valencia, Würzburg and Madrid, which is where I am working now as an English teacher in a school here.
I studied languages at University in the UK, which is one of the reasons I love travelling: learning languages is my thing and being around people from different cultures is really fun!

I live in Madrid and will happily show you around this beautiful city! If you want any recommendations too, you can ask me!
I speak English, German, Spanish and a bit of Portuguese!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping Couchsurfing will open up some opportunities to meet new people in/from the countries that I travel to.
I'm that person who always chooses to go to events or places alone, purely because I meet more people that way and create more connections... and that's why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Equally, I've learned so much from sharing experiences with the people I've met either in hostels when travelling, doing workaways, or language exchanges for example, that I constantly want to meet similar travellers to continue that!

Interests

Languages, animals (especially dogs), nature, hiking, clay pigeon shooting, skiing, netball, volleyball, running, vegan/veggie food, yoga, English teaching (I love my job). I'll chat about pretty much anything with anyone haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very laid back person, and enjoy most things. If you want to be alone, I 100% respect that and won't expect to hang with you. If not, we can cook dinner, have a glass of wine, just chat about anything, go out for a drink - I'd love to hear about your different experiences and learn about your country and its tradition and culture etc. I'm super chill with being in my own company, but will love spending time in yours, too. Basically, I will adapt to you :)
I'm very clean and respectful of your home and space and will fit around your commitments and try to be as convenient as I can for you.
