About Me

Hey! I'm a student from California currently studying for a semester in Brno, Czech Republic. I've been in Europe since February and will be traveling (hopefully) pretty constantly in the month of June. I'm studying international relations and business leadership, and I hope to pursue a career in protecting human rights. I love to travel, hike, play guitar, draw, sing, dance (somewhat badly), read, discuss current events and philosophy, and go on unexpected adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting people from around the world, yet I'm a bit more on the introverted side so I like having the opportunity for smaller groups and interactions. Of course I want to save money as a student on a budget, but I also want to learn about a place and culture from the people who live in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best nights of my life was spent on a bridge in Budapest drinking wine and talking with my friend for hours! Other top contenders would have to be hiking up a mountain to watch the sunrise and jet-skiing on a lake :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not going to lie and say I'm an amazing chef, but I've had pretty positive reviews of my cooking so far :-) I've lived with roommates from Brazil and Saudi Arabia for a year or so, and learned how to make some yummy Brazilian desserts as well as some good rice and meat dishes. I like to get up early in the morning (most of the time), and would love to cook some breakfast for us all. I also play guitar and sing, so I'll try to overcome my performance anxiety if you'd like to play music. I think it's only right that I do your chores if you are kind enough to open your home to me. And I can offer some interesting conversation and bad puns if you are open to it! If there's anything I've forgotten just ask and I'll do my best to provide!
