I am pretty outgoing. I'm American, lived in Spain for 8 years, just moved back to Oklahoma, and enjoy meeting people from all over. I'm a non-smoker, clean, and have a lot of passion for traveling: getting to know locals, tasting the native dishes, and seeing something new.

I want to get to know the real people of a place, and not just hotel staff. Being a teacher, I get good holidays that unfortunately my friends don't get so that means I travel alone a lot. I enjoy it and the experience can be more enriching if I can meet locals.

Ancient history and archaeology. Basically, I get a little obsessed thinking about how the ancients used to live. These are my favorite things to explore while traveling and of course there has to be food and wine, and pictures. :) I enjoy eating and cooking and would love learning and sharing recipes.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Almost every type of music, it depends on the mood. When I'm working at home, I love listening to flamenco, fado, anything with a guitar. I love comedy and suspense movies, especially if the protagonists are traveling. Other than guide books, I am pretty picky when it comes to reading but some of my all-time favorites are: The Brain Dance, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Alchemist, La Bella Figura, About a Boy, The Kite Runner, Mean Spirit….

I hiked Heart Mountain, in Wyoming last summer. It was a mountain I didn't even plan to hike and I don't consider myself much of a hiker anyway but I did it and it made me realize that there are probably a lot more things I can do that I didn't realize.

Well, since I am an English teacher, of course we can practice English together and I would love to learn your language. I think we can learn so much from each other just by chatting. Also, I'm totally up for going out, seeing the city.
