Overview
About Me
I live in Salt Lake City; grew up in Jackson Hole! I'm a business major and costume designer, hoping to one day work in Hollywood and have a small clothing business. I love seeing new parts of the world and being inspired by new places and faces.
If we're hanging out in a place I've never seen before, I can seem distracted if you're talking to me. I promise I'm not being rude! I'm listening; I'm just also trying to process my surroundings.
I won't accept invitations to go drinking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Serial travellers are a unique bunch. Everyone has their own elaborate stories to tell and I want to hear them. I also love finding out different peoples' favourite parts of their cities. It is the most exciting thing for someone's eyes to light up when they share something they love :)
As soon as I possibly can I want to start hosting other surfers! It's no fun to travel alone (well sometimes it is, but I get lonely), and having a real local to show you around is a comfort. I also think travel is something everyone should have the opportunity to do and I want to be an alternative if they don't have the money for a hotel. Money shouldn't hold you back.
Interests
I'm really into costume and fashion design. You can find me at every Salt Lake Comic Con, cosplaying Captain America, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, or She Hulk.

Music, Movies, and Books
Salt Lake has a lovely little record store that puts on shows with local and touring bands. I enjoy a lot of the genres they bring in, including punk, riot grrrl, noise rock, indie rock, etc.
As for movies, if it has superheroes or period costumes in it, I probably love it.
I'm currently watching Orphan Black which is amazing and a mind trip. I like pretty much anything with a great story and deep characters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In June 2016 I finished my first solo trip abroad :) Thank you so much to the couchsurfers I met on my trip for hosting me or meeting up!
I've seen all of my younger siblings be born at home, and assisted with their births. That was pretty rad.
I snuck backstage before a Tokio Hotel concert...TWICE.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to sew if the opportunity arises! I'm very good at it :) I also enjoy listening to hosts' travel stories. They are all so exciting.
I just wing it most of the time when travelling, so I would be happy to share any activity with you, or at least grab lunch or dinner together if you have the time. I understand we all have our own lives though so I won't expect to take up too much of your time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unfortunately, I'm not the best cook, but I prefer discovering new eateries and would be happy to take you out to breakfast/lunch/dinner/coffee.
I can mend clothes, I can help you clean, I can walk your dog, wash your dishes, etc.
