About Me
Hello friends,
After graduating college I made the decision to move to Spain for a year to teach English. After a year of living in a wonderful community and meeting amazing people I made the decision to stay and have been here nearly 7 years.
I'm super outgoing and a true conversationalist. I'm also really respectful, open minded and kind. My idea of a great evening is a nice meal and a walk through the streets of a new city. I especially love architecture so don’t be surprised if I want to stop to stare at a building for a bit. I’m a huge foodie so sharing a meal or cooking for others is always fun for me. I’m fairly laid back and low maintenance because really all I need is good company. I love kids and animals and have worked with both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing provides the opportunity to meet new people from around the world and connect on a deeper level. The chance to learn first hand about a culture and way of life is incredible.
Interests
I have a passion for the performing arts and participated for many years in theater. I love singing and music and going to tiny concerts of artists I don’t know just to discover new tunes.
In terms of sports, I enjoying swimming and hiking and sometimes a game of beach volleyball. I’ll gladly watch any sport live (except golf, I’m too enthusiastic to be that quite) but mostly I watch basketball, baseball and football/soccer.
I like to knit and read and watch documentaries, or in other words act twice my age! Haha

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a music taste that is pretty much all encompassing. The only thing I really can't stand is super heavy metal/screamo.
I hate the question about favorite book/ movie because it is just too darn hard to pick from all the genres just one or two favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived with a family for 4 months that spoke no English
What I Can Share with Hosts
Enthusiasm, conversation and a home cooked meal if I have the chance
