About Me

What I value most in human connection is respect, openminded-ness, and honesty. I rarely am bored and usually comfortable in any environment; give me a few hours somewhere and I'll be ready to call the place home. A few hours with someone and I might just be ready to call them my best friend.
So give me a shout if you feel like getting acquainted, we may just be undiscovered soul-pals : )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been fortunate to have travelled as much as I have so far, I've couchsurfed a few times and had both fantastic experiences as well as downright awful ones. I've never had the opportunity to host since either I'm always moving about or it isn't up to me to offer up a couch, though I'd love to return the favour when I've my own space. I think it's an amazing concept to have people open their doors to other like-minded spirits; that being said, the world isn't perfect. I've travelled a lot on my own, especially as a female, and I can relate to the struggle.

~ That said, should you ever find yourself in an uncomfortable situation in my hometown, please message me and I'll see what I can do to help you out. ~

Music, Movies, and Books

An impossible list to recount but shout out to Tom Robbins. David Bowie. Winona Ryder.
I like weird movies, all kinds of music (really dislike when people say this, but ...), and devour graphic novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One sticks out, probably because I've a video of it: running down the sand dunes in Wadi Ram in Jordan.
Another is visiting Zhangye Geological Park in China, where my heart nearly stopped in amazement (tip: best seen in the afternoon light, immediately after a rainstorm. Breathtaking)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation - either coherent or downright silly, - or comfortable silence; either way, endless good humour and a new friend in me (aaw).
