I have been working with first generation immigrant families on English literacy and proficiency, physical health, psychological health, socialization, and nutrition for over 4 years. I would love to learn more languages to better engage in dialogue.

My friends say I am a good listener. If we don't speak the same language, I can share our time through a culinary experience. I can cook traditional Hmong, Lao, and Thai foods with the right ingredients and equipment. As a midwesterner, I can create a pretty neat casserole too. I have taken up finger knitting and can hand sew most household cloths or materials.
