ABOUT ME

I'm a franco-swiss, passionate about languages, good music and food! I also love outdoors, which brought me to Vancouver a few years ago, where I started hosting couchsurfers before doing a bit of it myself. I moved three years ago back to Europe and had no space for hosting wherever I was, until now. I'm sure we'll get along really well.
I'm bilingual, working very hard on my German and love a good chat. I used to do radio and have a really good radio voice! Work brought me in Germany but I really am keen on getting to grips with what makes it what it is. But I am also very open to other cultures and understanding what somebody can find different, odd, pleasant or unpleasant in another culture.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very open-minded person. I think that there is a human bond, which is not limited to people you know, or people that look like you. I like the idea of hosting people and being hosted back, whether it be by someone you know or not - in this community I believe you probably know someone that knows someone that knows someone that knows someone etc. etc. that knows a host with a free couch or a couchsurfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a little couchsurfing experience in Canada, both hosting and being hosted, as well as some couchsurfing in Poland. Loved all of it, would redo things exactly the same way when given a choice.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, rock, a bit of eclectism there. As for books I want to understand people's lives, essentially. The last book I read was "Je suis a l'est", a book about living with Asperger syndrome. Very very interesting

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about politics if you'd like. Or french culture/swiss culture/linguistic differences. I can also teach you how to do media, conduct an interview, do recordings, stuff like that.
