About Me

I guess my friends would say I'm a very social person, who loves sharing and learning from the others. I am quite curious and open-minded, and I really like confronting my opinions to others, because of the questions it raises for both sides.

I'm dynamic but also zen and relaxed. A coffee when waking up is necessary to have me quickly operational but not drinking any doesn't make me angry neither look like a zombie for the whole day.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is made of others. Let's get the best out of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had hosting experiences through my flatmates that had subscribed early when we were students.

We welcomed people all together, but I also remember some cases when my flatmates were traveling themselves, which gave me the opportunity to host "their" couchsurfers for a few days which was a really nice experience.

Since then, I've hosted with my flatmates in Madagascar a bunch of couchsurfers of very different characters and projects! This was very interesting and nice to share our vision of the Malagasy capital city.

Interests

I'm now working in cooperation for development. Development and international cooperation is the main field I've worked in and studied in the last years. Without being a total cliché, I might say I've chosen to work in development as it is for me one of the best ways to help people in need while having their country commit to peace keeping, good governance and to offering them an enabling environment for well-being.

I'm really interested in urban issues and architecture. I've studied it for one year and try to keep being in touch with this as much as I can. Developing countries through this media is something that captivates me.

I'm actually not a specialist of anything. I've taken drawing classes, played Brazilian drums, had sportive and non sportive periods... But what is permanent might be sharing drinks with friends and having long conversations about anything. I'm not a big reader, even if I like it. But I like discovering new art, through exhibitions and different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any kind of music - but crazily missing and totally out of date concerning electro music since a few years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Appendicitis in India.
Swimming with turtles in Australia.
Mount Cameroon, 4100m, West Cameroon.
A whole trip in pirogue with my brother on the Western coast of Madagascar - incredible stary nights and sunrises.

Stories will be told to whoever is interested with a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine!
