ABOUT ME

I love dogs,
I hate cats (allergies... grrr),

I love alcohol, board games, hookahs, partying in general --- meeting new people, going out for food --- having too much to drink and then having to deal with a severe hangover!

These are all things that I consider make my life worth living --- of course I'll most likely mature a bit in a few years, and many things in the above list will change, but until then I plan on living life to its fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

I hear people saying that all the time... and I hate it! I've always been bouncing around different hobbies/sports/university programs/interests --- and every time I hear the stupid saying it reminds me of just how little moss I've gathered over the years. I'm like a ADHD kid that gets bored as soon as he's been focusing on something for more than 15 minutes.

Whatever, this is the life I choose to live --- and I happen to find that having lots of short-lived interests and occupations is wildly entertaining.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still pretty new at this... and honestly I'm not quite sure how everything works out on the field (I've read the tips and hints, and "about us" section... but my guess is I'll have to live it to fully understand what it is to be a CS member).

No worries though, once I understand how the system works (leaving for Italy soon, hopefully I'll get to meet some of you) --- I'll pitch in and help people get around Montreal.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Mtl --- you'll see, it's great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Italy was epic!
The people were nice, the wine and the food were delicious --- the experience exceeded all my expectations!

I look forward to going back one day... perhaps after I visit South America and a few other places in Europe.

Don't care too much for books... (see above personal philosophy --- I can't focus long enough to care about them)

Love it --- but sadly it's not exactly what everyone else likes. None of that "Lady Gaga" crap for me: ever heard of "Borris Vian", "Chales Aznavour", "Richard Desjardins", "Haggard" (the metal group), "Juno soundtrack" ? ... and that's all I can think of on the spot.

Practical skills and knowledge?
I wish I had those...

I mean, unless you're somehow interested in the workings of insurance ratemaking, data analysis, programming and optimization --- I'm not exactly sure what I'd have to teach.
----> I guess I do have knowledge of what it is to be a "Quebecer"/"French Canadian", so if ever you wanna hear about that, awesome!

I, on the other hand, want to know everything there is to know about your culture --- history, food, current and past revolts/reforms/revolutions.... everything!
