Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I grew up on Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul and Motown. I love Jay-Z, Nas, Sam Cooke and The Supremes among many others. Lately, I've started enjoying Deep House such as this mix: https://soundcloud.com/alexcruz/deep-sexy-podcast-july-2013

Books: I tend to read mostly non-fiction. Fiction wise, my all-time favorite is The Stranger by Albert Camus. More recently, I really loved One More Thing by B.J. Novak.

Movies: Before Sunset/Before Sunrise/Before Midnight, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Stand By Me, Lost in Translation, The Godfather Trilogy, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, The Sandlot, Step Brothers, Superbad, Old School, Goodfellas, Boyhood, everything by Tarantino and Wes Anderson.

TV: All-time favs are Arrested Development and The Wire. Currently, House of Cards, Veep, Inside Amy, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Also loved the Sopranos, Mad Men, Entourage, How to Make it in America and Seinfeld.
