About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding a way to make the world a little better place. I'm looking for a job that serves this goal and makes me feel satisfied and happy.
I would like to do this through working with a global health project (providing vaccines and medicines to developing countries) or helping out as a veterinarian in those countries.
Or by doing something else that I haven't figured out! I'm still looking for which way to go.
ABOUT ME
I am a friendly and warm person who is interested in meeting open minded people on my way.
I have a lot of interests and I have a very impulsive and discovering character.
I tend to hop on a train of thought, go with it, think it through a while, start something new because of it - a hobby, a job, a habit - indulge in it and love it, and through the process nuance and discover what could be better.
I've been hopping on and off a lot of those trains lately, so I felt like a needed a good station to think for a while and quit my job. Now, I'm reading a lot about a lot of different stuff - analytical and political philosophy, ethics, global issues, ... while looking for a temporary way to make a living.
All these characteristics make me a bit restless and I'm definitely an unpredictable person, but at the same time, I don't necessarily come across as a chaotic lunatic in everyday life. I usually have a cheerful vibe and my energy level can range from stoically calm to through-the-roof hyperkinetic.
Sometimes it is a bit difficult for me to open up personally, but when a conversation clicks into place, it can evolve to an interesting, funny, and sometimes even absurd event!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to connect to people as well as a great accomodation concept. I think it's a powerful tool for travellers in a world where most things come at a cost. As soon as I have a place of my own I want to start hosting people myself.
