ABOUT ME

Hey fellow couch surfers! I'm a 19 - nearly 20 - year-old student of mechanical engineering at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. I also have a girlfriend, Alexandra Simard (you can check out her couchsurfing profile). I'm a handsome guy... well my mother says so haha. No really, I love LIFE. Quite simply, since I was born, I've always been truly fascinated about the world. From huge open landscapes to crowded urban areas, I love exploring the world, learning new things every day and talking to pretty much anybody. I haven't had the chance to travel much by myself since I'm only 19, but I made it an "oath" to keep travelling the world until my legs give away!! This is the main reason why couchsurfing is so interesting. Not only can you host people from different countries and meet them in person, but you can also be hosted by those same people in their country. Anyway, that pretty much sums it up. Hope it wasn't to boring :)

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life. It might sound cheesy, but I've got two major motivations. First, love people, care for people and help them when they're in need. Second, explore the whole world and learn about as many cultures as possible in my short time on Earth. We are the lucky ones that live on a planet so varied, so beautiful that in 80 years we would not be able to explore all its nooks and crannies. It's mind-blowing!! It's a crime to stay in the comfort of our flat and do nothing all day. In my opinion, we must get out of the illusion of comfort and educated ourselves of what the world has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only started using couchsurfing this month. I'm obviously planning to host surfers eventually and of course travel using the couchsurfing network.

Intereses

Hiking, parkour, skiing, snowboarding, mountains, swimming, tennis, taking long walks, any other outdoor activity I forgot to mention,engineering, science, nano-materials, airplanes, psychology. Those are out of the top of my head!
