Hey Couchsurfing !

I am a young engineering student from Geneva, Switzerland. Due to some recent changes in my studies, I was looking for an internship for this semester. Good news, I found one in Cali, Colombia, and here I am, discovering a new culture, learning Spanish and travelling for the first time in South America !

I love travelling for thousands reasons but especially because it allows to:
- meet new people
- marvel at our beautiful planet
- understand and learning different cultures
- knock over some walls and build some bridges instead
- have fun

Last but not least, I am always up for a beer !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to discover a place, because nobody else than a local can show you around. It is also a great way to meet likeminded people !

My only real stay with Couchsurfing so far was in Coober Pedy, Australia. Coober Pedy is in the middle of the desert and the whole village is built underground. Ben (the host) showed us literally everything one could see there and made the night at the bar (also underground) unforgettable. For sure one of my best travel memories !

Interests

I love sports (football, skiing, ...), learning, going out for a beer and coming home at 5am, listening to people's stories, drinking beers (especially Belgium ones), fun facts, cheese fondue, Italian food, ...

I am very interested in anything related to sustainability or learning how I can use my studies to have an impact on this world and help people.
