ABOUT ME

We are Olivier and Tom, two students from The Netherlands. We are planning a trip to the USA this summer to visit as many great places as possible, and some universities as well.

Our trip starts in Boston, from there we go to NY and Washington. Then we fly to San Francisco, to start our roadtrip at the west coast (San Francisco > Los Angeles > Canyons > Las Vegas) from the 22nd of july until the 10th of August. Contact us if you would like to join us! We have 2 places in the car!

Since we are students, we'd love to attend any (student) parties :) can you bring us the American college experience?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can join us with our roadtrip in America! We are traveling from 22nd of july to 10th of august.

We will surely open up our place in the Netherlands for couch surfers to stay here after our trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are quite new and don't have any experience yet, but we are very eager to get started! Feel free to contact us to get to know us more, we'd love to meet interesting couch surfers and people that are more experienced with CS.

Tom's favourite movies and series: just recently watched House of Cards, Hannibal, Fargo, True Detective. Others: Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Homeland, Memento,... tons! I love movies and series, and always want to get to know new ones!

Music: Tom likes Drum & Bass (and a little bit of Dubstep, don't like it too much) or other Techno/Electronic music that gives him energy. I also like relaxing songs like jazz, but also rock (The Doors and Deep Purple are my favourite) and some Metal (Rammstein).

Tom: 2 weeks trip to Japan, speaking Japanese and partying with Japanese people! Trying all the crazy foods they have, learning about Japanese culture, walking through the beautiful scenery...

Half your body’s red blood cells are replaced every seven days. Seriously.

Tom studied theoretical physics (bachelor) so if you want to learn anything about physics from Quantum Theory to the Big Bang he can tell you! Olivier works as a computer game developer, so he knows everything about the latest video games. He has mady a few games and will show them to you if you want! One game is great, and involves throwing your smartphone in the air. By throwing your smartphone higher you get a higher score,... you can play with our phone ;)
