About Me
Hello !
To give you a brief introduction, we're Olivine 🙋🏻♀️ and Yann 🙋🏻♂️from France. We met during a university exchange in Lima, Peru in 2019. Ever since, we have this travelling fiber deeply rooted in our DNA.
When we travel, we like to meet local people to live unforgettable experience.
We are sociable, discrete and willing to help out if needed in any tasks.
We currently live and work in Paris and continue to discover the world together.
Thrilled to meet you soon!
PS : We love all kind of animals but unfortunately Yann is really allergic to cats... 🐈
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What makes a trip memorable is the people you meet.
Interests
When we travel we like to immerse ourselves in the culture of the country. This includes tasting as much of the local food as possible, learning everyday vocabulary and following traditional customs.
For example, when we travelled to Oman 🇴🇲 we also practised fasting during the first week of Ramadan, which will remain a memorable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
One book that made an impression on both of us was Paul Coelho's The Alchemist, which we recommend to all travellers. “Don't give in to your fears... If you do, you won't be able to talk to your heart.” ✨️
Also big fans of thrillers, we're always up for a movie night !
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Yann 🙋🏻♂️:
"I used to hike during my travel in South America.
I met a local girl who proposed to hitch-hike until a great but unknown hikking. We met a farm truck on the road who picked us up. The track was unforgettable !
On our way back, we had the chance to get at the back of a pickup. At the end of the day, we had an amazing journey meeting people I would never have had the chance to meet elsewhere. Taste for similar adventure was born."
- Fun facts :
- We have supported each other for almost 5 years 🤣
- We took salsa classes and we confirm we are an insult to this dance!
- We spent a year in Peru but hispanic people keep answering us in French…
