I am studying visual arts and living in Warsaw. I finished some studies before and lived different cities and countries. I love to gain new knowledge from any subject and simply experience life through studing, hitchhiking, traveling, eating, meeting new people, sharing views. I am currently exploring screen printing but have broad interests for example photography, cinema, movie making, graphic design and many more. Anytime I can I spend time in nature which is one of my biggest inspirations. The sea is the love of my life. Especially Baltic Sea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a versatile person hungry for knowledge and experiences. Talking to people of different backgrounds is fulfilling for me. I am on couchsurfing because of the same reason I hitchhike. I also like exchanging views on life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I can't live without music. It is an important part of each and every day. I appreciate lots of generes but currently I am most invested in Hip-Hop especially from other countries than America like Poland, Germany, Italy, Japan. Recently I got invested in Chinese rap since I have started to learn Chinese and listening to rap helps me with studying. I also listen to alternative dj music from Poland like Zima Stulecia, Błoto. In general my favourites are: Slick Rick, Chassol, Dirty Moss, Lil Jet, Skalpel, Kraftwerk, David Bowie, Ziomcy, Etnobotanika. Sometimes I enjoy soundtrucks from Jim Jarmusch's movies.
Movies:
Lots of it. Jarmush, Lynch, Alice Rohrwacher, LGBT movies, European cinema in general with a soft spot for Romanian cinema, slow cinema, documentaries especially Herzog, Wenders, Benjamin Ree, Joshua Oppenheimer. My favourite documentaries are Grey Gardens and The Last Year of Darkness.
Books:
I read mostly non-fiction, polish reportages, or alternatively chinese generes wuxia, xianxia and danmei.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked from Poland to Halkidiki peninsula and back (4458 km in total) and from Poland to Bulgaria (3774 km in total). I hitchhiked in 24 countries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would happily share my knowledge on any topic I am familiar with. I can teach you some analog photography, tell about screen printing, share my modest knowledge about film making, teach you something about biology.

I would be excited to meet someone of similar interests as mine, espiecially film and photography, but as I mentioned, I love learining about any subject or skill. We can watch a movie and discusse it, have an architecture walk or just chill together. Chilling is my profession.
