ABOUT ME

Who am I? I'm very much an artist: working with music, mostly contemporary electronic, like electroacoustic/acousmatic, free improvised/noise etc. Also visual arts, performance/contemporary dance, filmmaking, a lot of other things. I'm also active at the Institute for digital arts in Gävle (IDKA), which is a studio for artists who works with visual arts/music/video. IDKA arranges festivals and exhibitions, and exchange music with other european similar institutions. I usually works at IDKA with everything, making music, film, art and arrange concerts.Love to stand on a stage making music (improvised electronics/noise/electro-acoustic etc). I sometimes work at the city library as sound technician, and there I get payed.. usually I'm working for no money at all, just for the benefit of helping people and the cultural life in my city (and other places). I build things, furniture, music instruments.. lately most electronic devices/noise boxes. Pictures and info on my website. ... alone canoeing on a lake, feeling the stillness of nature. Or with friends, eating out and drinking a good red wine (loves especially the french food and wine).The creativity in me, is one strong force that keeps me alive. And the love for other people on this earth and this universe.... this is just a little bit of me...

Contemporary electronic music, such as electroacoustic music, noise, free improvised - to do and to listen to. Arts. People. Communicating - about life and everything... Feminism, queer theories, radical love, politics, anarcism and similar. Environmental issues, the global warming etc.
Re-cycling? Biking. Canoeing. Geocaching.
Building furnitures and constructions.
Walking and talking with friends.

Love to dance, to hard monotone techno or progressive house/trance. But it hasn't been to much dancing for some time now, I would probably fall apart after 1 hour.. ;-).

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't see so much movies (no TV), but favorites are movies by Hayao Miyazaki especially Nausicaä (the graphic novel is even better). Music.. usually a lot of synth music like Frontline Assembly, Mesh, Skinny Puppy and similar. Also progressive trance/house. And noise/free improvised/electronic/acousmatic. Also the soundtrack of reality. Dark ambient, industrial music. Other: Brian Eno, William Orbit, Murcof, Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt. Books: comics, graphic novels. Also books about gender, feminism, queer theories, gay and lesbian studies.
